1.0.2 · October 14, 2026
- Deposition video, ready to deliver. The clock is set from the time read on the record; index of events, videographer’s certificate and media labels; page:line synced transcripts.
- Speech-only cut. After sync, cut an interview down to the speaking parts, as edits on the original media.
- 32-bit float audio. Export a 32-bit float recording as 32-bit float instead of flattening it to 24-bit.
- Watch folders. Drop clips in a folder to burn in timecode, apply a LUT or make proxies, once per file.
- Burn-in Designer. Lay out timecode and other burn-in elements by dragging them on a real frame.
- Make a Story (Beta). Suggests a cut from an interview transcript, on the Mac. AI results can vary and may be inaccurate, so you review every pick.
- Education licence. Students, teachers, nonprofits and newsrooms can apply for a free 3-month licence.
1.0.1 · October 8, 2026
- Recovery proven on many more cameras. DJI drones (Mavic 2 Pro, Mavic Air 2, Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Pro) and the Osmo and Osmo Pocket 3 picture; Sony XAVC HS; Fujifilm X-T30 and X-S20; Nikon Z8; Panasonic LUMIX G9 II; and the consumer Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and EOS 7D. The full, current list is on the homepage.
- Copies cut short. Recovery when a copy or card transfer stopped partway, proven on a range of consumer Canon EOS R, Nikon Z, Fujifilm, Panasonic and OM System bodies.
- Field recorders. Zoom F6 and DJI Mic 2 recordings left unfinished by a power cut now open, every sample untouched.
- Picture first. When the sound of a damaged clip cannot be rebuilt, you still get the picture, and the app says so.
- Renamed files are recognised by their camera, not their file name.
- Trial status. The trial shows how many uses are left and when it ends.
- Reliability reports (opt-in). Off unless you turn them on; your footage never leaves the Mac.
